mmm, iced tea with a dash of vodka. Bring me one on ice!

Another fictional product range, but one that makes me want to brew my own alcoholic iced tea! I had such fun on the graphics for this one and creating the vintage/retro inspired design :)

Finally the kid's desk and bookshelves are finished

Getting the kids room decorating has been a loooong task. I feel terrible that I have made my son wait so long but it seems there is always something getting in the way of building! But finally I completed his desk, the bookshelves and the display shelves are currently drying outside.

Small desk/bedside table. Solid plywood with acrylic wall paint and clear varnish.

Kids' bookshelves. Solid plywood and pine with acrylic wall paint.

All together! Let me say I HATE fixing things to brick, I have a terrible time with that spaghetti stuff the screws go into and when you take the item down there's a big ugly hole in the brick with fluro plastic in it. But I found these AMAZING masonry/concrete screws (thanks Better homes and Gardens!) and they just crew straight into a small hole, no worries. I LOVE them :D

Alien landscape

My first completed Corel Painter piece, an alien landscape made in Painter 11.

A permanent bonsai tree

This piece was a special order :)

Gold-toned wire, jade stone beads, natural river rocks and a glazed clay base make this special little bonsai tree. It's only 19cm tall.

Have you considered growing a real bonsai? I've tried and it's been tricky. Here is a great guide that can help your bonsai bloom (rather than shrivel!).
